Do Slovaks serve any purpose in today's society?

I thought it would be interesting to have a thread dealing with the problems we are facing in today's world regarding the pesky Slovak.

This thread will be for discussing the problem and coming up with solutions.

I do have one dear Slovak friend. His name is Matej Lunter and he plays a mean accordion...

I would also like to consider dag a friend of mine, but is it realistic to have TWO Slovakian friends?

I will have to give this much consideration.

Yes, amigo, they can be lethal on those bikes.

That is perhaps the greatest danger they pose.

SLOVAK, gustav. SLOVAK. No, it isn't realistic. You do not deserve two friends. And certainly not Slovak ones, if you can't even spell them.

Another thing that bothers me about the Slovakians is their dogged insistence that they are the best spellers in the world.

And they will not abide by the term Western Society has labeled them....SLOVAKIAN!!!!

It just drives me friggin crazy!

They, as a nation, are good pet-carers and floor cleaners.

MATEJ LUNTER IS OURS!!!

From http://www.slovak.com/lunter/lunter_heligonkar.html
I would like to introduce you to a man who is a virtuoso with his numerous "Heligonky" or button accordions, a collector of forgotten folk music of the Upper Hron region, a singer and a dancer within the Telgart folklore troupe.
I have know Mater for number of years - since 1993 to be exact. Together we have recorded over 10 hours of Uper Hron valley (Horehron) songs and music that Matej has arranged to suit his stile. Presented here are some of those songs that illustrate the talents that he has exhibited to me over the past number of years.

Note: You need RealAudio (RA) 2.0 and preferably RA 3.0 to fully appreciate his music

You can also listen to some of his music there (certainly not recommended)
