I have been perusing this thread for at least 90 minutes. Reeg shows up at page 44. I show up at page 93 with the aforementioned post. Graphs and charts to follow.

I'd think we need multiple appendices to reflect the multiple contributors.

Who'll do the preface?

I've had it up to here with prefaces. Where's here? High up. Let's stick with the back matter. I'm fed up with front matter.

Well, Ruben is a person and Reuben is a sammich. I can't do chocolate these days, and I'm not a big pastrami fan.

Yup. Picky, picky.

Just in case anyone's interested (and I suspect none of you are, but that's never stopped me before and it won't stop me now), in book publishing parlance, front matter is anything that comes before the actual text--title page, copyright page, contents, foreword, preface, etc.--and back matter is anything that comes after the actual text--appendix, index, etc.

BTW, Ruben is mighty fine in the back matter department. Smile

Jespah was incredibly quick to stop me ending the thread, after two weeks of inactivity.

"Re: dlowan (Post 3615744)
Who the hell's this mooglite anyway?"

"Who the hell is dlowan?" This is my second post on the site btw. I stumbled across this thread and liked it.

By the time this thread really gets going, I will be seen as like one of the forefathers of the thread. One of the founders.

You're right. I must have missed March.

Maybe it's slowly grinding to a halt.

This has probably been mentioned on the thread before but:

The pattern of distribution of primary numbers is ostensibly irrugular, yet correlates to their distribution in the series of natural numbers exists in nature - the pattern of waves if you hit a crystal with a ball bearing for example has an extraordinary correlation with a graph displaying the distribution of the primes.

So there is doubtless a correlation between the ever-decreasing but never ceasing frequency of attempts to end this thread, and the primes.

Probably means nothing.
