Pondering. Let's see. When the Super Bowl was in the offing, Mr. Philbis was a footbally guy. Now the Westminster Dog Show is underway, and he's a canine. What's next? Presidents Day. Will he appear as Millard Fillmore? St. Pat? A rat? A shamrock? Quien sabe?

BTW, oz bunny, an Australian shepherd won the herding group in last night's judging. A positively stunning dog named Deuce.

'cuz we tend to be attracted to those things that we loved (and hated) about our parents. We look like our parents (gene pool) we marry those who look like our parents (natural attraction) and therefore look like each other.

Of course, Aussie shepherds are 100% American, so it's no kudos to the down under folks. (Australian cattle dogs are legit, though -- and they're better dogs, too.)

They ARE fabulous dogs.......they tend to be biters, though....must be the heeling thing (we call them blue, or red etc., heelers here.......bred to nip at cattle's heels when necessary).

man, they need to be occupied and interested all the time, though, or they go nuts. They're great dogs to have if you can travel round all day with them as you work........great back of the ute dogs.

I'm always fascinated by a reference to an Australian shepherd, as that breed is little known here.

Sheep dogs, on the other hand, are well known, but don't look like Australian shepherds!

Okey dokey. I'll never discuss your avatar again. I respect the wishes of the avatee. Unless you come up with something really goofy.
