Well, the lumber from the old bed is sitting on the footpath, after I laboriously ferried it there late last night (when it got cool enough).

I need to put a few more things out there and then call the council for a hard rubbish collection (of what is left after the junk collectors who regularly scan for anything they want have taken most of it).

The stuff I USED to store under the bed is piled in my bedroom.

I am sleeping on the mattress base and mattress, which seems to be far enough off the floor to not trigger asthma.

Apparently you can get plastic inserts to put in the holes (if they do not go straight THROUGH the holes...the bit for the leg screws to grip is kind of like a small doughnut shape, so there is nothing to stop the plastic things from going straight through, except tightness of fit) and provide a smaller grip for the screws...so I will try that.

If that doesn't work, I can manage as is until I can afford a new bed.

You don't need men for jars (not that I am decrting men) you just give the top of the jar a sharp rap on a counter...just hold it vertical to the counter, and bang the lid on the counter.

I know all the various approaches to opening jars. I've never not gotten one open. You don't NEED a man to open a jar. But it's a lot easier if one does.

Sorry about the tv height/wire situation. Pain in the patoot. Intrigued by your Asian decor--Indian and Chinese.

Lol!!! It's...um...er.....eclectic, that's the word!!!

I have an Indonesian coffee table, and old tv cabinet (it holds the music apparatus), African, Tibetan and New Guinean masks, flat pack dining table and chairs, and modern sofas.

I think turning a pseudopod into a pseudo eye, and then rolling it, is a tad MORE theatrical than hitting a few computer keys....but then, that is merely I.

It's a nice shot of you, in good shape, with good hootchie-cootchie moves.

One is shattered.

Is this better? I recall you were working your way up from hootchie-cootchie, making a more respectable living:

But hootchie-cootchie bunnies are making a respectable living! Plus the gymnastics are certainly better for Deb than this permanent smoking.
