You expect me to consort with a BUG? Ha! You should live so long.

It's only through the great equalizer of the Internet that this cheetah even talks to a bug.

Staring contests....even more so with the lidless....... are exercises in footling futility, akin to setting up the balloons to welcome Godot, and evidence only of a total lack of the higher brain functions.

I gotta agree. But bunny, mantises have eyelids!!! This launched a major debate in the bug world as to whether they're officially bugs.

This is why I don't believe for one second that the vonce beat the snake.

True?

For this I need a reference!!!!

I just looked up site after site, and I saw a lot of stuff about compound eyes and the simple eyes between, but no mention of eyelidses...none!

I've learned that camels have three eyelids, but I too have found nothing about mantis eyelids...
I do like this drawing though...

My mistake. I found a site that talked about leopard mantises with eyelids. Upon further examination, the site was about geckos, not mantises. I must learn to be more thorough.

How embarrassing. Embarrassed

Maybe bugboy did outstare the snake. In any event, I'm going to skulk off to sulk. I'm humiliated.

I'm over it.

You have to admit that a cheetah skulking looks damned good.

Skulking or sulking?

I would think they skulk as a matter of routine!
