Somewhere in between, I suppose. I'm working with an orthopedic surgeon trying to figure out why dogs get ruptured cranial (anterior) cruciate ligaments. It's all done with clinical samples, there are no experimental critters.

glad you asked, wabbit.

it is the noun form of the intr. verb o·ver·re·act
intr.v., -act·ed, -act·ing, -acts.
To react with unnecessary or inappropriate force, emotional display, or violence.

This is not the word you used.

You have answered for overreaCt, a common word, whose meaning is well known.

I have requested clarification of the meaning of the word you used, which is "overreate".

Btw, reg, what exactly were you referring to with the dysplasia controversy? I'm only familiar beyond the academic setting with shelter medicine, and dysplasia isn't a big concern there...

Crayon, you'll have to get a Canajun to tell you about what it's like to be in the Canajun Army. I can only speak of the US variety.

Military life: it sucks the entire time you are in. As soon as you are out the memories of great friendships emerge and you are ebullient about the glorious days of your service.

Quote:
Take one fresh and tender kiss
Add one stolen night of bliss
One girl, one boy
Some grief, some joy
Memories are made of this

Don't forget a small moonbeam
Fold in lightly with a dream
Your lips and mine
Two sips of wine
Memories are made of this

Then add the wedding bells
One house where lovers dwell
Three little kids for flavor
Stir carefully through the days
See how the flavor stays
These are the dreams you will savor

With His blessings from above
Serve it generously with love
One man, one wife
One love through life
Memories are made of this
Memories are made of this
