I am absurdly burnt out on the schooling right now. There were two and a half years of simultaneous full-time work/full-time school, then a full year of more-than-full-time completion of undergraduate year, and now nigh on three years of veterinary school.
I'm sick of sitting and being talked at, and I feel little more prepared for my occupation than I did seven years ago. (Okay, it's a slight exaggeration, but I am burnt out on this ****.)

I'm taking a year "off" to do a master's and work in an emergency clinic. Prolly doesn't sound like it, but it's a nice change, and give me clinical and research experience I need.
Then it's a year of clinics, during which I'll be begging for the opportunity to doze off in lecture six hours a day.
Now I know how dlowan got that many posts.
