No. Once we sent some dogs to Vietnam, but they couldn't come back, and so -- no dog vets.

Actually, this dog spays a cat on Monday. If we can figure out why she's got this pretty hefty afebrile leukocytosis. Gotta go look at some pee to see if that's at the root of it. Dipstick says yes, but dipsticks aren't very reliable...

Hmmm. Some squamous cells, maybe a couple of transitional epithelial cells, a few WBCs, not an abnormal amount of bacteria...

Nothing to go on about. Talk to my colleagues in the morning, put her on an acidifying diet, talk about whether we want to try and get a culture on the messy ear (unlikely, since she's a shelter cat with limited time with us and limited fundulation), put topical antibiotics in it, or put her on systemic antibiotics.

Now is an all-nighter studying eyeball stuff, from which I am easily distracted, for -- though it has pretty pictures -- the actual text is quite dull.
