you're right, it kinda does. in any case i want to reenact the little dog in this most famous painting of the boston massacre (some "massacre" they got here, three people dead. I'd call it the Boston Skirmish)

Gus arrives in Boston and begins to comb the streets, looking for littlek and dag.
He is alone....... and afraid.

Gus, your little victory dance looks interesting.... so first you do and then it's this? Or, is it the other way around?

Gus huddles in a building entrance, resting his sore feet for a bit. Suddenly a pretty maiden approaches him:
"hey, want to see a collection of surgical instruments from the time of the Revolutionary war?"

Oh, I can see that, k! Though there's no doubt about the skill of the photographer, too! You know, this photograph would be completely at home in the Mellow Place!

Too much concentrated essay writing, k? That can seize up the brain! Take a break! Better still, take a few new photographs!

So, I went to Mt Auburn Cemetery today with the kids. I took lots of them, which I won't prolly post. I also took lots of pictures of these tree's knees....

Are those trees that have been cut down and grown over?

I don't think so, Reyn. I think they're growing up from the roots of the mamma tree. I dunno if they'll ever be actual trees....... Maybe I'll do some research.

The tree's knees are the bees knees, especially with the fiddleheads in the foreground.
That middle one is evocative. Shiva-lingam? Torso with a protruding bellybutton? Whistling frog?
