@dyslexia,
Well, if I kept buying regular AA Duracells, I would need another job to pay for them! Laughing

Mmmm.... I spent the weekend on the cape (cod). I have some. One oddity - we saw a sandhill crane which isn't a native species. We were on a nature reserve, so we didn't get close. The birds at my parents' house were chatty with spring time mating rituals. They included mild mocking birds and racous catbirds, nesting orioles and spring-calling chickadees. The osprey were too far off to shoot and none of the hawks came close enough (for long enough) to capture either. Plants were good subjects as always......

They're all really good, Kris! If I had to pick a favourite, it would be the one I've quoted.

Keep 'em coming! Wink

My two favorites are the water sustains and Rock Beach at sunset. Which doesn't really surprise me: You have always had an excellent eye for discovering abstract shapes in nature. Love the "abstracts" album on your MSN/Multiply site, too.

My housemate just made parchment from goat skin (she once had a job....) in the basement. I was intrigued by the textures - and by the process. First the skin is soaked, then stretched and scrapped. After it's dried, it gets sanded and trimmed. These are from the middle stage - dry, but not yet sanded.

@littlek,
Wow. I like all the photos, wonderful color/subjects. The harvard yard one is interesting not only for the yard but the way people are dotted around. (I like the ear scratcher)

@ossobuco,
The ear scratcher is a security guard - she's using a radio or cell phone. Another guard will come around the front of that building, sort of play-stalking her. He's the one she's radio-ing with.

Man, these are great. Like a professional (some of them), really.

That little blue bird seems to say "Don't mess with me lady".
