They're regular NiCad rechargeables, I believe. I didn't know that they had special ones for cameras. Thanks!

Okay, good, sounds like that's the way to go. I imagine that those ion ones are way more expensive, too?
Well, I have 3 sets of 4 AA batteries (2 Duracells and 1 Panasonic). I'll run them into the ground and then check into something as you suggest. I'm just glad it's not the camera, itself. It was quite pricey, along with all the doodads I got along with it (about 2 years ago now).
