I'm not a Bostoner, and I'm not quite ready for a final commitment to participate, but I'm definitely interested in principle. All August weekends would work about equally well for me.

But maybe we should make sure Dasha has time first. It was about four weeks before my move from Munich to New Jersey that I suddenly discovered I was cutting it awfully close, that I had to cancel about two thirds of my planned activities to make it, and that those activities included all farewell parties. I hope, though, that Dasha's time management is less chaotic than mine was. After all, that's a pretty low bar.

I am leaving on 30th of August at 7pm....until then I am at a workshop in Catskills with Azeris and Armenians (yes, I do know I am nuts), weekend before I am on the Cape having a work retreat, weekend before that...hang on! Weekend before that I'm hosting a Departy! And you should all come.

It's on the 16th. I told folks to come at 8pm, but maybe the a2k crowd can come a bit before so that we can chat before the hordes of theatre, gay, political science, boxing, Slovak, and all sorts of other people arrive.

Could "sometime during a week" be a Monday or a Friday after the 15th? I guess I could take a day off after the 15th. Before it, we have a super-tight deadline, so I could do weekends but not weekdays then.

dunno. Monday 18 I have a friend from Slovakia here who's helping me pack and ship stuff, we will be traveling about a bit too, and on Friday I'll be headed to the Cape for the retreat... it's gonna be one of those months.
