@littlek,
I owe Boston a better meet-up than a layover (of sorts). Next time, for sure!

Gatherings in Boston tend to be ad-hoc and informal. I suggest you just tell them when you come, and they'll be there. At least this has been my experience.

@Crazielady420,
Then why don't you organize a meetup yourself? I'm sure it'll be fun. Smile

If you have one in October, I'd attend. I can't go before September because I need to save up money as I have to move at the end of September.

@tsarstepan,
Hmm . . .

Sounds like a good idea. Can't do Oct 11-14, but other than that I'm open.
(This is said without my consulting The Lovely Bride, so take it cum grano
salis
.) Any ideas for a venue?

hey, if October gets off the ground, count me in until someone schedules something I can't possibly get out of on the one night everybody else agrees on.

I could see Jake Wirth's. We did that with Walter und Frau a couple years ago. Maybe not sitting right in front of the huge TV screen showing the hockey game next time, though.

@George,
I don't know enough about Boston to make recommendations other then the Friendly Toast in Cambridge.

Just hoping for someplace affordable and accessible by the MBTA scope of things.

@tsarstepan,
Friendly Toast is hereby added to the list of nominations.

I agree that we should stay within MBTA range.

Well, Bostonites, I feel so privileged.

The Blue Man Group is apparently playing in Sydney.

Mind you, their review in today's newspaper was "What's the point?"

Now for the Duck Tour and I'll feel really Boston-ish! Laughing Rolling Eyes
