hi,
why were women in the 70s and before were hairy but almost all are shaved now?
once i asked a girl this questions she said: why men in the 70's had mustach but now most are shave?
well i don't want to get a question for a question.
sorry guys, being a man i dont wanna compare men'n mouth with women's p... but it's interesting to know.

I think i grasp what you are talking about.

Its all about fashion, which in my opinion has gone way too far.
It focus's on people insecurities, like we have to impress everyone, hang what we want, its all about looking good for others.

Cant be seen on a beach in a thong bikini with traces of maturity sprouting out!

its the current style.

in a few years, that will change too.

It is already becoming sort of 'against the grain' to NOT shave..
so , back to the 70s we shall go

Yup, fashion. Women started shaving under their arms in the 20's when thin strapped dresses came into fashion. As skirts got shorter it became fashionable to shave legs. Nowadays with little bikini's and shorts the hair between the legs is the thing to get rid of. It's mostly young people looking for mates that are obsessed with the body hair etiquette, as people get older they tend to care less about such things. We do what attracts the opposite sex.

Dont you mean against the groin, tee hee.

Let it all hang out, thats what I say.If hair is growing ahlfway down your leg, bleach the first 6 inches, other than that, let it be.

Im a fan of old vintage edwardian photos.
Every now and again I see some nudey ones and im always surprised to see no underam hair and a neatly coiffeured lady garden.

Oh Dag, its comments like that that make me wann do away with it just to see what its like.
Knowing how uncomfortable it gets re itchiness due to only a tiny bit of stubble makes me not do it.
I could imagine the whole thing driving me mad!

itchiness goes away after the first two-three times. but hey, one feels comfy in a miniskirt and heels, another in harley davidson leather outfit...there ain't no one right way.

I like it shaved too (arm pits and legs) but since I got married, I go days without shaving because well, who cares? I get stubbly but my hubby doesn't care and neither do I. I ususally shave it when it starts to get itchy.

The barber trickedeveryoneintoshaving. Before shaving the hair was probably wispy but after shaving it is thick and then it needs regular pruning. See? It was a trick to keep his job/business going. Same with companies selling shavers. After the first shave you have to shave as it is now 'there' instead of the original wispy thing and are hooked.

hi
thanks for your replies.
A message for the gals:
many men like hairy. nut a big bush but a thin layer of fur is very sexy.
once i saw a girl wearing a short t-shirt. i could see a thin line of hair under her navel going down and disappearing under her pants belt.
that was the most sexy scen i had ever seen in my life.
i went home, horny like hell and jacked off.

I have that line going down from the navel, I ve always been embarressed about it but Im going to look at it differently now.

Tho going on one 'you need to pluck that' comment about that area, not all blokes like it.
