Do you mean guacamole, mg? (I think I got the spelling right!) Yum!

I also enjoy avocado in the simplest possible way ... just cut it in half, remove the seed, cut a few lines into the flesh, add a good squeeze of lemon juice & a little ground pepper. (A bit of salt, if you like, too) Delicious.

OOh, I actually have a lemon in the fridge, to accompany my healthy fish.

Why is all fish horrid and pointless unless its either mackeral/covered in batter/ salmon slices.

It's rather nice grilled. (Fish, I mean). Mind you, I'm speaking of fish locally available here, mackeral not being one of them! A nice tender fillet of fish can be great, too, wrapped in foil after adding lemon juice & say, some tomato slices on top & maybe a few slices of the green bits of spring onion, then baked in the oven for a little bit. (10 15 minutes?) Very nice. Juicy!

Oh, I wouldn't dream of insulting mackeral, mg! Sorry you got that impression. No, I was saying I never cooked it because it's not locally available, here, fresh. Is that better? Very Happy

And, if you like avacados, it's delicious, mg. There are more complicated versions but that one is nice & quick!

BTW, how was dinner?

You never heard of guacamole?!?!

i'd be dead right now if it wasn't for guacamole. That and raman and cereal.

Try a Avocado, turkey and swiss sandwhich or avocado on any sandwhich.

just make sure to cut off what you need and store it in the fridge with the seed still attached so it won't turn brown.

Ah, Southern California. Just checked to see where you lived, Amigo. Knew it had to be somewhere with a good climate! All those avacados - lucky you!

I use garlic salt in place of fresh garlic sometimes and leave out the tomato.

The thing with avocados is that it takes long to ripen then when they do you have a very short period to eat them in then when you cut them open they really get ugly quick.
