Yeah and you make spineless insinuations like a girl.

But that's not me. It's Chrissie Hynde.

So far 57 Senators have gone on the record for approval. It will be interesting to see the final tally.

Americans will see that Bush appointed a liar to the SC when his true philosophy is revealed in his opinions.

And since only 51 are needed for confirmation, its pretty much a done deal.

Well,I guess that now that Alito has been confirmed, the world is going to end.
After listening to the dems in the Senate,I expect that at any minute the earth is going to open up and swallow everything, the skies are going to start raining brimstone, the water will become undrinkable instantly, and all manner of disasters are going to befall us.

Its ben an hour, and it hasnt happened yet!!!
Still waiting for the doom and gloom to befall us that the dems were saying was going to instantly happen.

He has not been sworn in yet. At the ceremony, I would expect the above to occur, or it might just be Kennedy letting loose some more gas.

No point in gloating.

The important lessons of the Alito confirmation is:

The Democrats are establishing precedents they will rue if and when they regain power in DC.

The left-wing of the Democratic party has influence on potential 2008 presidential candidates, but not on the entire party.

The Democratic Left will not win the day in 2008.

I can't wait to see all the conservative reform that Alito brings in his briefcase. I think he has already assembled a crack staff of 100% anti-abortion ultra-christian my way or the highway white men.

Liberals should be moving to Canada anyday now...

If you decide to move to Canada, I'll offer you 10-cents on the dollar for your guns.
