Geez!!
When will these guys come up with what the W.Va miners were being punished for...?
Ok, I am jumping in with both feet here. I haven't got a clue as to whether this is God's punishment or just part of life.
That happens to be Pat Robertson's opinion, view, etc. That doesn't mean it is all of Christianity's.
Ma, if you didnt jump in, nobody would have thought any different. LAdy, you are waaaay too touchy.
Pat Robertson is an adzhole of huge repute, nobody blames YOU for his anal/cranial inversion.
REEEEELLLAAAAAAAXXXXXXXX
Pat Robinson always reminds me of the saying: Just because you sit in garage does not mean you are a car anymore than if you sit in church you are a Christian.
It was Johnny Damon's fault.
MA, you like playing martyr no? Ive read some of the other posts where you come i with your feelings about something beind antid CHristian or is Christian Bashing. It gets a little old. Try something new, like arguing from a point of logic rather than emotion.
Not meaning any criticism , just an observation from my little mound of dirt.
youve gotta admit that ole Pat is one head case. If you stick up for his rantings just because hes a professed Christian is totally illogical
didnt somebody say
:"By their works ye shall know them"
He is some piece of works donchagree?
IMO I think robertson is living proof that the indians fornicated with the buffalo
IMO I think robertson is living proof that the indians fornicated with the buffalo
or is this the part where once again I say he's a sexualy active circus performer
MAQuote:I stated I didn't know if it was God's punishment or not.
Should we even bother with the operation on Sharon? What if he survives? does that mean Pats all screwed up? or, as we all suspect. his Bible is short a coupla verses.
Momma Angel, do you think Pat Robertson was justified in saying what he did?
If you do think he's justified, you are aligning yourself with him and setting yourself up for being criticized along with him.
If not, why not say so? ("I disagree with what Pat Robertson said." "I think that was a stupid and thoughtless thing to say." There are a whole lot of ways to do so.)
Same as how people are always calling on the Muslim community to denounce hateful things that individual Muslims say. I personally don't think that's necessary -- the individual person who said the hateful things can be held accountable without holding the whole community accountable if they fail to denounce him -- but if a member of the community says, "well maybe he's right, I dunno", rather than denouncing the hateful statement, that member of the community opens him- or herself up to criticism. In a way that a member of the community who says nothing at all or who denounces the hateful statement does not.
I think that if anyone with an I.Q. higher than a turnip has any regard for what Robertson said, he deserves to be trounced upon, mightily. It sounds like Robertson either is so full of himself that he does not recognize the idiocy of his pronouncements, or he has a major league mental disorder.
Then again, he may be pandering to his perceived intelligence of his constituents.
or maybe he himself is a pawn of satan, using his pronouncements to give christianity a bad name....
I think he's just mentally ill.
no... he is in an unholy partnership with satan. i've decided.
My favorite of his (recent) gaffes is when he decided to "pray for more openings on the Supreme Court."
I'm sure there's a bigger picture that we aren't seeing.
Hey isn't he the same dumbass that said Dover, pa should be struck by lighting?
