Why are so many women having trouble taking their bc pills all of a sudden? We've had about four or five new posts about this. If I didn't know better, I'd think they all came from the same person with multiple identities.
We also had a post about multiple A2K identities recently. Any connection? Or is it just me?

I was wondering too, but my answer to this stuff is always the same; if so, oh well (does it really matter?), and if not, hate to make someone who is sincere feel bad.

We often have spates of questions along the same lines due to an A2K topic turning up high on a Google search. Like the wives who find out that their husbands have been looking at computer porn, lots of Estrostep stuff (where I think these may have started), lots of depo provera stuff, (especially as misspelled in one thread) etc., etc.

As said before, multiple identities are part of what screwed up Abuzz and the idea of that happening here just breaks my heart.

But how is it what screwed up Abuzz?

Really?

I don't really get the angst about this.

Just as an example of what I'm talking about, we're the 8th result for "Estrostep" in a Google search:

Yes, multiple identities, if people use them to be a pain in the arse, are...well...a pain in the arse.....but no emergency, as far as I can see...

However, "what screwed up Abuzz" was the cessation of moderation, and people being able to have the SAME name as another user.

That may be, but questions get picked up sometimes on google; people with similar problems will see that and post as well. Thus the tremendious incidence of threads about husbands looking at porn about a year ago...
Not that I know this for sure, but it seems to make a nifty theory.

Yes it is. I'll go with that because I absolutely hate the idea of one person, many aliases. It's duplicitous, if nothing else.

Does "Featuring" a thread cause it to show up as a Google hit? I noticed many times that when a thread has been featured we seen to get a bunch of similar posts from newbies.

Before we get all embroiled in another thread, there is one thing that I would like to ask.

Why are threads with NO responses often featured?
