It started snowing here- too late for a romantic Christmas touch, but it will be nice for a long walk, which I need now.

Danon, you look very well.

Sumac, I handed out the hugs.

Cool Just stopping by to Say a Belated,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
HAPPY HANNUKAH!
HAPPY KWANZAA!
HAPPY BOXING DAY!

Thanks for the invitation, but have been too busy, gathering aid, $$$, for Katrina Victims. NJ had a Black Bear Kill, much to the dismay of environmentalists, but I blame over development, where habitats usually reserved for wild life, has been imminently domained. For humans who don't understand, Bears have to survive, too. We have moved into areas once reserved and kept wild. Now, we've encroached into their territory and wonder why they wander into our yards, etc. I was much saddened as to why the governor of NJ let this happen. Hopefully, Jon Corzine will be a better environmentalist, but you never know. Stay safe, Be well and have a Happy 2006!

Thanks for the clicking help, danon. It definitely eased my mind, especially when I couldn't find any gin <turns out Triple Sec works in tea in an emergency situation>

mrs. hamburger and Bailey usually keep me company while I click. She's been riveted by danon's tales on the previous thread, and everyone's updates as we've gone along in this thread <and enjoyed the pix of ul's kitchen on another thread>.

Spectacular photo from NASA ~

Newborn stars, hidden behind thick dust, are revealed in the image of a section of the Christmas Tree Cluster from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. The newly revealed infant stars appear as pink and red specks toward the center and appear to have formed in regularly spaced intervals along linear structures in a configuration that resembles the spokes of a wheel or the pattern of a snowflake. Hence, astronomers have nicknamed... the "Snowflake Cluster."

Dan, temps were very warm last week, even with the heavy rains, Tahoe ski resorts arn't happy campers. Yesterday and today there's been a good storm raging, so there may be skiiers driving to Tahoe for the weekend - if temps permit and the snow remains on the ground.

One of my decorative trees was picked up by the wind just enough to disengage the moorings, and there i was at midnight picking up the tree that had fallen over one of the hedges. Storm raging, gale winds, and me on a ladder, tree in one hand - holding on for dear life to the ladder that was sinking into the mud each time i took a step up. Only dropped the haligon once though. <grin> The tree securily affixed to the porch eaves again, and i don't plan checking the North 40 for storm damage till Spring!

The weathers sure unpredictable for most of the United States. Any news regarding the fire that swept Oaklahoma and raged through Texas? Saw a news report today. Hope our Texas wildclickers safe!

It is snowing here- finally. It is wonderful in the forest.
Today I was dog sitting. He loves snow. So we had a very long walk.
Now he is resting.

My goodness, Stradee.!! You be careful - it's a matter of - Hmmmm, the tree or me...... Hmmmm. You were very brave to brave the elements like that to save a tree.

Ya know what? We Wildclickers have also saved another tree today.

Hurrah for Stradee and all Wildclickers!!

Ul, beautiful animal!

Dan, when I picture the Esperanza and her crew valiently attempting to save the whales from Japanese whaling fleet - well, my teetering on a ladder somehow seems minute in comparison. We do what we can though - wildclickers rock!! Very Happy
