....gets out Kalashnikov from secret pocket, assembles it in a second and a half and takes out chocolate carrot a millimetre from TerryDoo's wicked fingers...blows on muzzle in a satisfied way...twitches cotton puff tail....well?....waits...

Debs,

The poem is by Wilfred Owen, the sentiment is mine

Tell me, dear beauty of the dusk,
When purple ribbons bind the hill,
Do dreams your secret wish fulfill,
Do prayers, like kernels from the husk
Come from your lips? Tell me if when
The mountains loom at night, giant shades
Of softer shadow, swift like blades
Of grass seeds come to flower. Then
Tell me if the night winds bend
Them towards me, if the Shenandoah
As it ripples past your shore,
Catches the soul of what you send.

Why I oughta'.......

TerryDoo slyly fishes around in her ACME Bag O Tricks (no kidding, folks, it's embroidered right on the side, see?:

I--ACME--I
I---BAG---I
I-----O----I
I-TRICKS-I
I_______I

.............Anyhow, she fishes around in her ACME Bag O Tricks, just $49.95 plus shipping and handling from ACME.com until she locates the ULTIMATE IN LAST RESORTS...........She ducks behind a curtain which she has also pulled from her ACME Bag O Tricks (just $49.95 from ACME.com.....order now!) and emerges a few moments later wearing a fluffy bunny tail, shoulder length floppy ears, and HUGE bunny feet, all in a lovely mauvey-pink sort of color......she nibbles a chocolate carrot, shrugs her shoulders and says, "Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!"

hjuikjooooooooooooooooooo <-------(kitty walked on the keyboard.....I guess he wanted to say hello)

Yes Happy Easter to all a2k'ers Very Happy

Often when I think of that place
I dream of her and the stream
the way the water ran off the heather
her ruby lips, the green air that
we breathed together
but that was long ago
and now the boy is a man
and he is lost in a world
of strangers and wishes he was home

We have Easter Monday as a public holiday here in Germany (and most European countries), but what to do with left-over chocolate EASTER Bunnies after Easter?

Send them in exile? To the Easter Islands or to Good Easter or High Easter in Essex/UK?

This is an echo on HAPPY EASTER. Didn't want anybody to miss it for a one day post. c.i.

> ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY
>
> Don't put all of your eggs in one basket.
>
> Walk softly and carry a big carrot.
>
> Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
>
> There's no such thing as too much candy.
>
> All work and no play can make you a basket case.
>
> A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention.
>
> Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
>
> Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
>
> Some body parts should be floppy.
>
> Keep your paws off other people's jellybeans.
>
> Good things come in small sugar-coated packages.
>
> The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.
>
> An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare.
>
> To show your true colors you have to come out of your shell.

> The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.

Now I can answer: I eat them from the top down. First the ears, then the head. I haven't gotten beyond that. May go for the feet next....
