Hah. I was right for once. I told my coworker that Germany would tie it and it would go into overtime. Well, overtime is yet to be seen. Still, happy they tied it.

Germany are lucky to still be there. Can anyone explain to me how the challenge by the German player that earned the Argentinian a yellow card for diving, was not worse than the challenge by the Australian player that gave Italy a penalty?

Ok, I have to know, what was the fighting about? I'm so sorry I couldn't see the game with my own eyes.

Ah shucks. My latin heart wanted to see an Argentina - Brazil final. The albicelestes displayed a prettier football on ocassions... too bad they got a little mexicanish on the PK's. Lehman displayed why he is payed so much.

I also predicted to my coworker that it would be a tie (1-1), and go into extension, than penalties!

Aint I brilliant??

Of course, I also predicted that ARgentinia would win the penalties..

'78 I meant, of course. Thank you all for not rubbing my face in my mistake. Got my enemies mixed up there for a sec.

The TV commentator here said the Argentinians were very emotional about losing, some took it out on their frustration on the German players, and then one thing led to another. But that's just what they said. They didn't show pictures of how the fighting started.

(The tv commentator here was talking a lot of nonsense.)

For nimh: "Ohne Holland fahren wir nach Berlin" is een lied dat veel plezier teweeg brengt
