Kuvasz must have had a bad time with his sick dog. Nowhere have I written that racism is "foundational" to fascism. If he thinks that something which is listed as "the Primal Sin" automatically becomes a foundation of something, he knows nothing about religion and/or government. I suggest that Kuvasz go back to re-read my last post. It is evident he did not. He was probably too busy handling dog medicine.

The "erudite" Setanta does not tell us that his link reveals that there are some misquotes apparent. Quotes allegedly made by Mussolini are shown to be erroneously attributed to him.

Since I can read the original Italian, I am obliged to inform the all-knowing Setanta that the quote from Laura Fermi in her biography of Mussolini tells us that the Ideology of Fascism was always in development.

I will quote it again.

No one who reads the above words, written by the cheif ideologist, Benito Mussolini, can doubt that Facism was often opportunistic and when it came time for Mussolini to express his Racism, he did so in the Manifesto Della Razza which I am certain Setanta has not read.

if something is "primal," from which all others (sins) flow, it is a priori, and everything post facto is conditioned upon this "primal" cause. If all things flow from it, then like the relationship a well spring has to the river that flows from it, that primal well spring is fundamental, integral, and necessary for the existence of the that which flows from it.

racism is not the well spring of fascism.

Kuvasz-Are you so steeped in early senesence that you don't know the difference between a "sin" and a "governmental policy". I realize that they are sometimes the same but they are not always identical. Governmental policies are not always sins, although I am sure that your biases impel you to identify the GOP's pronouncements as such.

Nice try at using your typical smoke screen. But actually, you were the one who used the term "sin" in reference to supposed tenets of the ideology of fascism, not I. So, apparently your beef is with your own abilities to discern proper use of the language.

Whether or not I or anyone else can read a treatise in a Romance language is not at issue. On the contrary, what is at issue is your repeated and tedious propensity to show your a$$ by making claims that are unsupported by the facts compounded by a near pathological need to overcome an inferiority complex by insulting others who point out the inadequacies of your theses.

You have now spent the greater part of a half dozen posts attempting to redefine what was on your part merely an exaggerated albeit erroneous posting on the "primal" relationship of racism to fascism. Rather than showing the maturity usually expected from an adult who lays claim to the wisdom you do, and graciously admitting your minor error or hyperbole and moving on to a fruitful discussion, instead you chose to engage in ad hominum and a series of verbal smoke screens and tangential obfuscations to cover your tracks.

Frankly, the brittleness of personality and ego you exhibit is not to be scorned, but pitied.

Admitting my minor error, you say? I have read many many posts by the allegedly erudite "Setanta" and the most learned "Kuvasz", they have never, to my knowledge admitted any errors. Why? They are the fount of all knowledge. I showed that they are not.

I know you will not admit it but anyone who feels compelled to tell the world how great he is cannot be anyone who feels secure about himself.
