You did it right but it was just missing a space before the http.

A pity that you can't link to the pages of the work or link to the images though. The URLs are generated in a way that doesn't link here.

But if anyone has the patience to copy and paste this one they will see my favorite sculpture of the lot:

edit: Note the first part shows up as a link but the rest is needed too, the curly brackets are making it parse incorrectly.

No no, it's just that THIS site doesn't handle the urls for your site well.

Because of the {curly brackets} on the links, it's not possible to post images or deep links correctly from your gallery.

My fault, not yours. I hadn't known about links with the brackets.

The one that I like most is the one that I think your avatar comes from. The face with the arm curled over the head.

WHOA!

Gorgeous! The way you work with the natural grain is outstanding. Do you start with a form in mind, or follow the grain to decide on the form?

I'm off to join the military, I can't even take the sculptures I have now. ;-(

But I DO buy art whenever possible (except paintings, since I have to put mine somewhere) and would most certainly buy yours once I get settled down (the military will move me like chess pieces on a board) and have a credit card with which to make online purchases.

Ahem...

Rubber duckie, joy of joys
When I squeeze you, you make noise
Rubber duckie I'm awfully fond of you!

Will that do? Very Happy

Sozobe, don´t be fooled by the grain.Take a log and cut into it and that´s
what it ends up looking like.I never pay any attention to it-don´t want the wood dictating my work.Sometimes though I do think "wow look at those rings".
When I start on something I always know where it´s going. There´s a finished piece in my mind as I work the material. And thanks for the Whoa.

hebba,

I moved this to the original art forum (because the art forum, as opposed to original art, is for work that is not yours ; -).

Ah, you've got Taste. My 2-year old is going through a "sing to me mommy, sing to me" phase, and I'm afraid "Rubber Duckie," "Ring Around the Rosie" and suchlike are what spring to mind...

Meanwhile, if you pay no attention to the grain, your hand is divinely led. How else to explain "Untitled X", for example? Wink

That one works if you paste the whole thing into the browser, it's the untitled X one that I had just been looking at.
