Ok, my computer is doing weird things. I pulled up the latest post and my heart was gone! Now, I just posted again, and it's back! Oh well, can't have too much love!
When you post images from another site on the net, you are at the mercy of not only your download speed, but also the speed of the server hosting the image. My server for those smileys is slow but cheap.

Thanx Neo! Thought maybe my computer was possessed or something!http://web4.ehost-services.com/el2ton1/devilsmiley.gif

The bible canon (currently accepted) does not support the many pagan beliefs and practices which have slithered their way into nominal christianity. That lets Paul of the hook. But, as for his succeeding adherents. . . well, maybe if you stand on your head and read the papyrus scrolls in a mirror. . .

AH!

Sorry, I'm just too darned old to try it.

That doesn't let Saul off the hook--not by a long shot. Lets us not get back into a wrangle about the "sins" of Origen, Eusebius, Pamphilus and Arius, 'K? Scripture has little to do with what the priesthood peddles to the suckers in the temple . . .

You're right about the excesses of the priesthood, but . . .
'Splain where the ' popular elements of "pagan" worship [in] christianity' are supported by scripture.
