I haven't seen you dispute set's writings yet, so what are you trying to say? Your posts have no substance or logic.

I did'nt others did. You called it religious poison.

it's been called drivel, horsesh!t and all kinds of things.

Based only on either Setanta's statement being all these things or on another type of religious poison!

Get it?

That's what happens when anybody relies on their beliefs on the 2,000 year old comic book called the bible that has no foundation on anything except very old cultural customs, religion, and myths. You should try living in the 21st century rather than trying to live according to some babble written two thousand years ago.

Does that mean this can be disregarded as drivel?

(In regards to all of man agreeing on any one thing to be true)
That would simply be the most gross case of argumentum ad populum . . . it would not be unreasonable to assert that at one time, every human on earth believed that the sun orbits the earth . . .

Anyone have an answer?

I've heard better argument coming from a 1st year law student defending a speeding ticket in night court.

What beliefs do you rely? Modern science? Like this?

That statement is from science and posted by Setanta

Will we keep running or will someone either agree with this statement or deny it?

At no time did i assert that the remark i made about an argumentum ad populum fallacy is "from science" . . . don't try to rope me into your production of drivel . . .

Nice to see you have abandoned your fallacy theory...which was used to dispute mine.

Truth remains unchallenged and will never fall.

" ForThe weapons of our warfare are not carnal but, mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds and casting down imaginations of EVERY HIGH thing that exalteths itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obediance of Christ"!

Nothing will prevail against it.

Men cannot prevail even against his words(truth). Let alone him.
Nothing can.

I believe that this fallacy Setanta alludes to will be abadoned by much of the world...in order to continue it's clash with.....him. God

enter the antichrist

but to no avail.

Your "truth" based on a comic book with so many errors and contradictions makes your claims laughable and ridiculous at the same time.

For you this is true.

I guess only some people believe it.

What do I know? Maybe I am deceived but....who is to say?

I guess time will tell.

Bye.

I have read this same line so many times that I am thinking of writing lyrics for it.

Have you read through the posts Intrepid?

They said I posted drivel...but will not quote the drivel I posted to see where I was wrong.

Drivel,horsestuff...all kinds of things. Which may be valid but, they won't say what it was.

Is'nt that odd?

PM me if you like.

Mr. Cicerone Imposter, if the Spirituality & Relgion Forum is not the place to discuss religion, where would you then send Bartikus, myself, and others Question

Perhaps we could have a new forum! Yes, that's it! We must petition A2K to start a whole new forum! What shall we call it? I am sure that you and I bet even Mr. Setanta might have some good names for it in mind? Then you wouldn't have to worry about anyone forcing you to read all these nasty posts by those that are religious at all.

You could actually have your own forum! Wow! What do you think? I think it's a great idea! And then, if anyone comes in that forum and dares to speak about religion, well, you can just kick them right out! As long as you make it clear that it is NOT a spirituality and religion forum I think you would be well within your rights to tell them to go somewhere else. Don't you? Laughing

I will have to ask Mr. Setanta if he might like this kind of forum also!http://web4.ehost-services.com/el2ton1/heart.gif

Philosophy

It was used by you to discredit my theory that:

Even if all mankind could agree with this one thing.......
No two people on earth can agree on all things and as such, all are unique.
