We all have some measure of faith, but it's not necessarily based on religious beliefs.

Yes at the top....this is the viewpoint of many. The world would be better off without all theism.

Without faith....but does anyone not operate by some measure of faith?

I don't believe the world would be better off without faith. I think it would be even worse than it is now. I can only speak for myself, Bartikus. I have a lot of faigh in God.

Can any man operate by no measure of faith? Zero faith?

Not really; we all have faith when we walk across the street that we will not get hit by a vehicle.

That is not faith. It is hope.

Why do men seek to point out one anothers differences knowing that no one else on earth sees "truth" "faith" "hope" in the exact same light as they do? WHY?

Some say that one race points out the differences of another

Christians point out the flaws of Non Christians.

Jews point out flaws of muslims

Christians who go to the same church and denomination.....DO NOT AGREE ON ALL THINGS.

NO ONE DOES.

SCIENTISTS DO NOT AGREE ON ALL THINGS UNDER THE SUN.

Can we all agree that none of us....no not one see with the same sight on all things?

differing beliefs are not a problem, the imposition of one's beliefs on another is the problem.

There it is! Now all we have to determine is where the imposition begins.

If we can all agree on my last point...then does'nt it make sense we humble ourselves before one another and start from there?

Or do we wish to maginify our differences in order to tear one another apart for some perverse goal of self justification of the sight we have?

Do we have to go through this again? Can't you understand that I have the same rights you have and I exercise my rights just as you do?

Can't you understand there are more laws on the books that I don't agree with and I won't vote for them other? I won't vote for them because I either believe they are wrong, they won't work, they won't be good for society, etc.

You do the same thing. The only difference is I use my Christian beliefs as part of the reasoning for my voting the way I think is right. Just because we happen to disagree doesn't mean I am imposing anything on you. For that matter, and we've been through that too, if you vote for something I don't want, are you imposing your will on me? No. You are exercising your right as an America citizen.
