Ah, but you do not prolong my silliness. Nay, it is in fact, your own that you prolong.

I see you're still at it, after asserting how little you care. And i assure you, your silliness is very amusing . . .

You can only get sillier than not knowing the difference between "forbidden" and "adherence" by going public demonstrating that you don't.

That some here are capable of prodigious silliness is indisputably well and amply demonstrated throughout the conversations on these boards. By no means are the more notable examples of silliness intentended, though their occasion and presentation well may have been intentional ... apparently, often "they know not what they do" Rolling Eyes

What a huge steaming crock! Just how old are you? List two from any University in the Top Twenty Public or the Top Ten Private Universities.

Rutgers and Princeton, Columbia and New York University, all of which are local to me, all of which I have some dealings with, offer everything from free condoms to morning after pills gratis. I guess things may have changed since you matriculated.

The worldview of some is neither so expansive nor inclusive than that of others ... An illustrative contrast is provided in the distinction between the words

Parochial

and

Ecumenical

Silly me. I should have realized that the world begins and ends with the United States.

I've attended five universities in the province of Ontario in the past thirty years.

Birth control counselling, birth control, family planning ... it was going on when I arrived at university for the first time - it's still going on now. Things are much the same here in Canada as in the U.S. - perhaps somewhat more socially advanced in some ways.

Sex and university - kinda like franks and beans/nachos and beer/togas and purple jesus. It's been goin' on a long long time.

Where's the Christian Soldier . . . no comment?

(Pssst, Intrepid . . . that "world begins and ends in the United States" is getting shop-worn, and it sounds a lot like whining at this point.)

Well, yeah ... but thinking about it, I imagine it is no stretch to say there exists widespread, perhaps even universal, school proscription of sex executed while the participants temporally and corporally are in fact in the school's buildings (apart, perhaps, from some dorms and mebbe a few labs).

Ohhhh.... shuddderrrr ... purple jesus ... shivver. Can't stomach even the idea of anything "grape flavored" to this day - some memories never fade.

It is a Christian school that has a mission statement. Academics can choose to attend or not to attend based on what the school is. What is your point? Heterosexuals are also forbidden to engage in sexual acts in most schools.

Intrepid, if they have a mission statement, I missed it on their website. From the info that I did see, however the school looked downright liberal compared to some in the US. For a comparison see

Patrick Henry College

with it's required statement of faith, Dept. of Government, vision to transform American society, faculty selection, etc.

Quote:
Creation. Any biology, Bible or other courses at PHC dealing with creation will teach creation from the understanding of Scripture that God's creative work, as described in Genesis 1:1-31, was completed in six twenty-four hour days. All faculty for such courses will be chosen on the basis of their personal adherence to this view.

Mission
To develop godly servant leaders who have a love and burden for people based on a strong commitment to Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and the ministry of His church, who will energetically strengthen, revitalize and actively multiply communities of effectively ministering believers in Canada and around the world.

Established
Founded in 1987 as the Associated Canadian Theological Schools (ACTS) of Trinity Western University (TWU), now called ACTS Seminaries. ACTS is the Graduate School of Theological Studies of TWU. Transcripts are issued to ACTS students by TWU. The degrees are granted by TWU and in most cases conjointly with the seminary of record.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This appears to be their mission. Other than that, I know nothing about them.
You talkin to me? Well, I don't know. I guess it is kind of neat to attend 5 different universities and partake of all the things they have to offer. I guess they are all progressive for sure.
I dunno,
worth starts at home.
Well, no, sometimes people's homes make them feel shitty.
Ok, it starts in themselves.
There, that's true.
