Well you sure have proven that you won't let any of us outdo you in those departments. Except maybe for the hypocrisy part, you have been pretty consistent in your intolerance and hatefulness.

Your point is taken. If you can get over the title of this thread I will do my utmost to be civil and respectful to those that disagree with me, except for ci who so far has yet to add anything besides "yeah what he said!" or "you tell him setenta!"

And here I am thinking how pointless it is to spend a lifetime trapped in an idealogical prison of superstition. Very sad indeed.

John Creasy,

As others have pointed out, you have challenged an atheist audience. As far as the audience is concerned are concerned your support for religious belief has about the same intellectual status as "Mussolini was a good guy because he made the trains run on time". If you consider this to be an insult then the onus is on you to substantiate your own intellectual equality not your moral equanimity. Either that or leave the stage.

John Creasy, I have seen on these boards no forensically correct, logically sound, academically valid case made for the existence of any diety, let alone the deity peculiar to the American Fundamentalist Protestant Christian subset of the Abrahamic Mythopaeia. Would you care to undertake the presentation of such a case? Or for that matter, would you care to present any such case for the existence of deity in the abstract?

Are you quite sure that is what you want?Or is it what you think of as intellectual honesty that you want.And why would an intellectual want intellectual honesty?(Which is a tautology).There just might be a difference you know.

In the case of the ranting christians, i suspect their lives are pointless and their points are lifeless, which would account for their aggressive nastiness and their bad manners . . .

Oh gee whiz....................I see another pissing contest brewing. Can we agree that there are good and bad people across the spectrum of belief, that no one has the "lock" on the truth, and that we are all entitled to our opinions? This going 'round and 'round in circles is making me dizzy! Sad
