Eeew, you've got to go the full term? You have my condolences.

I'm on pre-retirement leave at the end of this year.

BUT, I will be taking on something part time next year.

If I take early retirement, I won't be able to keep that much of what I earn working. I needs my money.

I hear ya.

I'm doing the part time thing to try to keep up to inflation and save up for "extras" and possible surprise expenses.

I'm investing my money wisely by playing the lottery.

Laughing Well, my wife and I play our Canada Lottery 649 from time to time. Never buy more than 1 ticket though.

Odds of winning top prize: about 1 in 14 million. No probs, right? Laughing

To those who have discussed digital cameras with me, looks like the candidate for me will probably be the Nikon D50. The performance looks good, and it's affordable here in Canada.

Damn it, reyn, let somebody know when you're away. What if I had won the lottery tonight? You wouldn't know about it, would you?

Away?

Just sitting here working on the Avatar thingy, wondering why I'm doing it.

Just looked at my lottery ticket for tonight's draw. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

What are the odds in your lottery?

And that's the end of it, right?

Do you think you get your money's worth of "dreams" from a ticket? In other words, is it good value for the money?

I was thinking the exact thing myself today, and I guess for the $2.00 it's a cheap delusion for a short while. Laughing

Well, if you don't play you don't win for sure. If you do ply, you still probably won't win, but, as you say, the little dream is there for a while. To me it's worth it.

hehe, Triple header there, Edgar! Laughing

No one won the top prize in our 649. On Saturday, it's worth $26 million. Shocked

Gotta buy my one ticket!
