Well, joe, I learned a lot and I am sure Thomas did too. We will let Walter experience your baseball erudition on his own.

Waitaiminute, what?! When did this happen?

While I probably won't be able to make it to the June 4th gathering, it's entirely possible that we'll get to Chicago sometime soon-ish (note, "soon-ish" means "within the next couple of years") and would definitely like to get together with all y'all if so.

I don't know what you're talking about. After a few beers I become an erudite and keenly perceptive commentator on the intricacies of baseball. And I feel obliged to share my observations with those who may be seated within my immediate vicinity, so that they may all benefit from my valuable insights. I expect no reward or compensation: I do it pro bono publico.

HAH! Although, I must say, you had the lady on the other side of sublime in stitches.

Set, care to drop in for a trip to the park?

Soz, jp is probably busily unpacking as we speak, so to speak. I debating posting his news before he did so himself. I'll have to take my lumps, as necessary. Of course we'll get together with you whenever you can make it.

jp - you can join us in June to yell at me in person, ok?

Thankfully most of my memory of that game was erased by my friends Gin and Tonic. Oddly enough I remember the first game of the season quite well.

Drinking gin and tonic?

Bill, I only wish Grossman had as good a memory as ours.

Yes, Bill. Sublime obviously gave you a pass on the first Bears-Packers game. Don't give him a hard time about the last one!

Home field advantage Vs Home feeling sorry for ourselves, I figured you could probably take it. Just give me 1 more year of Brett and I'll be happy! Did I mention he's 12 and 2 at Soldier Field? Razz

I have to agree with Bill about Brett Favre. I think most people would like to see him play another year.

Just out of curiosity; from the beginning of time, how many Bears quarterbacks have a better winning percentage at Soldier Field than Brett? Cool

I don't think any quarterback has a better record at Soldier Field than Brett. Maybe that is why he was crying at the end of the game. He had always wanted to play for the Bears!

St Barts? I'm insanely jealous, T.

Enjoy your trip but I don't want to hear another word about it until June

Speaking of June - do you have any free time between June 1 and 4?

Ah, nice! It's early to plan specifics yet, but do you want us to leave you alone to settle in that day or should we plan on getting together?
