I can't take over the counter medicine and I can't have anything with caffeine or grapefruit in it.... does anyone have any home remedies to get rid of cramps... My stomach is killing me and I am on the verge of tears half the time...
Can anyone help me make it stop?
there is one chinese tea (got it in Super 88) - it was called "Ladies' Comfort Tea" hee hee. It worked wonders for me...
Does is have caffeine in it though, most tea has caffeine :-(
i don't think so. it was herbal. don't know for sure which plants they used, it involved hibiscus, i remember. but i don't think caffeine was involved.
Bourbon works for me. Hope you feel better soon!

The Therma Cares are like portable heating pads....except you can wear them for longer than 20 minutes. They do get really hot though.
Crazie - ahve you considered birth control pills? I was put on them in high school because of the severity of my cycles. I'd be sent home one day every month to lie, felt-position, on the couch, rocking. I'd get migraines too. Sometimes I threw up. They worked then. Now, almost 20 years later, I have just gone back on them for symptoms of pre-menopause: hot flashes and irregular periods. I was very pleasantly surprised to remember, through experience, the effect they have on cramps. Aaaahhh....
also biking. or probably any light exercise. but biking particularly helps relieve pain.
