The lowly avocado was originally named the alligator pear, by folk etymology from American Spanish aguacate, avocado (the trees are said to grow in areas infested by alligators). However, it didn't sell well and the alligator pear industry (in california) changed the name to Avocado to boost sales.

For what my humble opinion is worth I think migraines are the result of bothering about things that don't concern you and that you don't understand.
