No he's not nervy, just clueless. In George's world New Orleans and the UN are two separate, sealed universes and his actions in one have no reflection on his actions ion the other.

How was the appointment of Brown indicative of corruption, or do you no longer even care whether what you say is true, as long as you can put your opponents down with a snappy comeback?

cronyism is what I accused him of, and with a clear conscience. Pay attention. It's bush who used the word corruption to describe the UN, so as far as you're concerned it's gospel, right?

Cronysim is not corruption, in my opinion, unless something more is involved. If you want to accused Bush of corruption, give an example.

You can't possibly be that stupid. Show where I accused bush of corruption or stand down. Preferably quietly.

If you are not equating cronyism to corruption, then why would the one preclude the other as you are saying?:

Why do you liberals work so very hard to avoid addressing your opponents arguments? This is hardly a characteristic of people who are in the right.

why did you turn my post around and try to derail it? No confidence I'd say.

Since the opening post accuses Bush of corruption (I think it does), and I ask how your example proves this, it would seem to be entirely appropriate.

Everything you've said is wrong, from your opening post down to your most recent assertion that my posts are off topic. Snappy comebacks don'y make you right, they just hide the fact that you're wrong.

will it help if i quote Mr. Bush speaking before the World Bank, in which he used the phrase "cronyism and corruption?"

Quote:
In all these areas -- health, education, hunger and debt -- America is committed to walking along side leaders and nations that are traveling the hard but rewarding path of political and economic reform, nations that are committed to rooting out cronyism and corruption, nations that are committed to building the institutions of freedom and good government.

Not really. All politicians are probably guilty of some degree of cronyism. Some probably are guilty of doing it to a really improper extent, and some probably just do the typical amount. But it isn't corruption in and of itself. The opening post suggests that Bush doesn't have the moral standing to criticize corruption at the UN. If that is asserted, then I want to see the proof. Why do I care about it? Because your most successful technique for hurting the president is to repeat lies over and over again until some people believe them.

Oh, good grief. How can anyone "prove" that someone else has no moral standing?

It's a matter of opinion, ain't it? Jeez, some of these arguments must be as tiresome to write as they are to read...

No one has requested this. I requested that an example of his alleged (it seems to me) corruption be given. You just love to put words in people's mouths.
