After all I really enjoyed the trip.

Well, I'm back from Bologna... the best way to describe the trip is 'shitty places to sleep'. I might expand on that thought if I'm motivated enough to translate the spanish version but there'll surely be pictures later.

The first two pictures is what you get when you want to do something but your hostel has a 11.30 curfew and is 8km away from the center. We're so emo!

Yep, many streets are ornamented with lights as well... so it's quite nice to walk without an itinerary there at night, too bad the hostel closed at 11:30 and that it is 8km away from the center. All this in the city that's been called the 'best nightlife in Italy'.

My italian teacher had studied there. She used to rave about the opera bars. At the time, that sounded awful to me, but I've since gotten to like opera more.

This is my christmas/new year schedule:

Dec 22 - Take late train to Rome (Hoping to meet with Raphilion on the 23rd)
Dec 27 - Train to Venice
Dec 29 - Plane to Paris
Jan 3 - Plane to Barcelona
Jan 7 - Plane back to Milan
Jan 7 to Jan 10 - Drive visiting cities in Northern Italy (maybe some I've already been to)

It's been crazy trying to organize this with 5 people with different schedules but we're one step away of completing everything. It's so cool.

Another quick update: I'm in Paris and everything is good. New Years below the Eiffel was more calm than what I expected. Pictures will surely come when I reach the tranquility of a fixed place.

Hi everybody, thanks for the comments.

I didn't see slovakian model light the night, but after seeing some of her pictures I wish I had. We waited for the countdown near Eiffel and then walked to Arc de Triomphe.

I think I'll stay here in Bergamo for the rest of my Europe adventure since I have to study for exams and I want to spend time with the people I met here, I go back in less than 20 days, like always in these situations I'm happy and sad at the same time.

I'm sorry. I've been out so long... Those "vacations" of mine... I will actually have to take a vacation to recover from vacations Rolling Eyes
I've meet Joe the 23th of december.... afternoon. At that time I'm afraid I couldn't offer him more than "panino al prosciutto" near santa maria in trastevere and a short trip in San Giovanni in laterano Crying or Very sad

I hope he enjoyed his remaining days in the eternal city, even without me.... Beh, comunque ere in ottima compagnia, eh!

I'm back after 4 unforgettable months. When I landed on San Diego I immediately got the feeling that it had just been a long, wonderful dream, everything is so far now, and all that I'd known prior to was with me again.

Academically it was terrible since I failed the only two courses I took, I have only me to blame, the only problem I have with that is that I might have trouble keeping my scholarship, let's see how that goes. Otherwise it was great, vacations in Europe while maintaining a core friend group. Party every other day, getting to know someplace different every other week. That's how one dreams about life.

Raphilion, thanks for everything. You added some spice with your vast knowledge of Rome. Of course I enjoyed my stay there, it's difficult not to. The only regret I have is not visiting the Vatican museum as we didn't know 26 is also un giorno festivo.

Some more pictures might pop up soon.
