Raphilion, you told me to make you know when I'm going to Rome and I'm thinking of going there sometime in my stay. May I ask you to mail me your e-mail address or phone number because I'm having some trouble accesing a2k from the computers at school.

husker, did you go on vacation on the Baja peninsula as you had planned?

Great Joe. I can totally relate (I was your age when I started studying in Italy)
Did you bring a can of jalapeños? They sure can be helpful when you get homesick and it's so damn cold.
Make a lot of friends, and may they last forever.

BTW, stick to a budget. And if you're travelling elsewhere, viaja a lo prángana.

My e-mail address is

Well there is my real name and surname in it well, it's not a secret. I'm not Superman, after all

I didn't bring a can of jalapeños or chipotles which would've been a great idea but I brought chile de botella and chilito piquín. It's not the the same but might help somewhat. A friend also gave me a book to help me "when I miss Tijuana".

Last night was the first night after 4 others that I slept at the place that'll be my apartment for the time I spend here so surely this weekend is when I'll plan my expenses and my trips.

I'm thinking of going to Rome around Nov. 10 as that's when I'll get some time off for exams but since I'm only taking two classes here I'll have some free time.

Ho soltanto 6 giorni qui e già posso notare una differenza nel mio italiano.

Oh, the first picture is the view from Città Alta to Città Bassa here in Bergamo.

The second picture is from when I went to watch a soccer match in Milan where Inter beat Livorno 5-0.

I'm going to Florence this weekend so more pictures will come.

I have now pictures of Florence but I forgot the cable.. anyways.. I'll have 5-6 days in which I don't have any school duties so I want to travel but I don't know where exactly, maybe Germany, maybe Rome, maybe Spain, maybe the Benelux.

Must make a decision soon... we'll see.

The first one is very close to the "battistero" isn't it?

I really don't know where Belvedere is... Embarrassed All I know the plaza is named Piazza Michelangelo.

In the first one you can see the Battistero on the left and duomo on the back.

The next stops are Bratislava and Vienna!

Raphilion, it's almost sure I'll go to Rome during November...just need to gather a small group of people to go with. Hope I'll see you soon!

Ah, those are places a2k's Dagmaraka is - she works and stays in Vienna, and family home is in Brataslava. If you don't talk on a2k with her before you go, you might enjoy talking afterwards.

Hello! Thanks osso for alerting me to this thread. Yeah, when i'm not in B'lava, I'm in Vienna. Holler at me should you want any advise, suggestions, anything. When do you venture to my playground? Where are you going to stay? Very good town choices, btw. You got taste.
