Hi. Happy Resurrection Sunday 2024! Are you doing anything special for the holiday? I'm just curious.

I'm not really doing anything special related to the holiday. I don't have anything special planned.

What about you? Please help. Thank you.

@JGoldman10,
My family and I are Christians. We refer to Easter as "Resurrection Sunday".

@JGoldman10,
Did anyone here watch any Easter parades this year?

@JGoldman10,
I'm just waiting for someone to be resurrected. Isn't that what the holiday is about? It's a version of Halloween and people dress up as rabbits, right?

@JGoldman10,
That's not a Christian thing, it's a cult thing.

It's Easter.

I cooked a chicken and we got lots of chocolate eggs.

@izzythepush,
No it's a CHRISTIAN thing. Easter is pagan.

@JGoldman10,
It's Easter.

Your vernacular is niche and cultlike.

And it sounds freaky, all voodoo, snakes and stuff.

Why don't you go the whole hog and reject Christmas too.

25th December is the birthday of Sol Invictus.

A lot of scholars believe that Christ, if he existed, was most probably born in September.

What you're doing is trying to impose your own definitions on the rest. Christians celebrate Easter, not "Resurrection Sunday," that's something peculiar to your cult.

It’s also the birth date of Cleopatra Selene (Moon) and Alexander Helios (Sun) or Heli, two of the children born from the union of Mark Antony and Cleopatra.

At the age of 16, Herod met his lifelong friend Mark Antony of Macedonia, to who, in the year of 40 BC, on the 25TH December, Cleopatra bore the twins whose names are Cleopatra Selene (Moon) and Alexander Helios (Sun) or Heli.

The young Davidian prince Heli, [Alexander Helios III] the son, or adopted son of Mattathias ben Levi, was chosen by Yehoshua/Jesus III the high priest in Jerusalem, as the candidate to marry his daughter Hanna/Ann, the mother of Mary, who with her half- brother Joseph the son of Alexander Helios, were the parents of Jesus.

i am an 82-year-old pensioner, my life is one long holiday. Nice surname you have there.

BTW, Jesus was resurrected late Saturday afternoon, and his tomb was found to be empty in the darkness of Sunday, before the sun had risen.

I dunno, hammering in all those square pegs must be one hell of a job.

Nah mate, those square pegs fit perfectly into the square holes that were made for them, just like the Words of God which mesh together perfectly, like the finely engineered cogs in the wheel of life.

No problem at all mate. Like I said, my life is one long holiday.
