@davidsheep88,
Is it time???????

Eisenhower taxed the bejebus out of them. Reagan had a higher effective tax rate for the rich than any President since.

Mr Tax Cut, Ronnie Reagan raised taxes 6 out of 8 years, he said you have to tax the rich at a higher rate rate because the rich wriggle out of as much tax liability as they can.

Time? It's time to look at past Republican Presidents and tax the rich effectively. We supply the troops that die to their financial benefit. The least they could do is pay for that benefit.

@bobsal u1553115,
Okay, I agree Reagan did good taxing them but we need more for the american people. We need more veterans to be wealthy to do something for America more military to tip the side in USA so USA can give back to it's people. More billionare military people they can win the fight for America.

Through the late 1930's (coming out of the Great Depression) corporate tax and income tax contributed roughly equal amounts to Federal Revenue. Prior to entry into WW2, corporations contributed well more than income tax.

As of 2018, income tax contributed 4.5 times more to Federal Revenue than Corporate taxes. Income tax has previously contributed more than 6 times more than corporate tax.

This clearly paints the picture not just that all parties are failing to properly 'Tax the Rich', but that the tax burden is (as a overall graph) being shifted away from the mega rich, and placed more and more on the income earners.

Plenty of this also has to do with the growth of Tax Havens and Shell Companies that enable tax avoidance - neither of which are generally available to income tax payers.

'Taxation for the Rich' would have to solve the second problem to be effective.

@vikorr,
I don't need to be an enslaved billionaire slave holder.

I only want to be treated fairly. We need fewer billionaires, not more.

Ok. You're the exception that proves the rule. The ONLY exception.

@davidsheep88,
Billionaires take their money off the market and impoverish others to do it. They divert it from bread to yachts.

"Eat the rich!"

Jean-Jacques Rousseau: "Quand les pauvres n'auront plus rien à manger, ils mangeront les riches!" (When the people shall have nothing more to eat, they will eat the rich).
