Middle East Mystery (possibly a racist's viewpoint? - sent to me by a friend, but I'm uneasy about posting it.)
Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.
Let's see now:
No Jesus.
No WalMart.
No television.
No cheerleaders.
No baseball.
No football.
No basketball.
No hockey.
No golf.
No tailgate parties.
No Home Depot.
No pork BBQ.
No hot dogs.
No burgers.
No lobster.
No shellfish, or even frozen fish sticks.
No gumbo.
No jambalaya.
More than one wife. (HELLO, ARE YOU CRAZY?)
Rags for clothes and towels for hats.
Constant wailing from the guy next-door because he's sick and there are no doctors.
Constant wailing from the guy in the tower.
No chocolate chip cookies.
No Girl Scout cookies.
No Christmas.
You can't shave.
Your wives can't shave.
You can't shower to wash off the smell of donkey cooked over burning camel dung.
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all times.
Your bride is picked by someone else.
She smells just like your donkey, but your donkey has a better disposition.
Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better!
I mean, really. IS THERE ANY MYSTERY HERE?

This tickled me so I stole it and posted it on another site which I have now been banned from.
A man is taking a walk in Central park in New York.
Suddenly he sees a little girl being attacked by a pit bull. He runs over and starts fighting with the dog.
He succeeds in killing the dog and saving the girl's life.
A policeman who was watching the scene walks over and says: "You are a hero, tomorrow you can read it in all the newspapers:
"Brave New Yorker saves the life of little girl"
The man says: - "But I am not a New Yorker!"
"Oh then it will say in newspapers in the morning:
" Brave American saves life of little girl'" - the policeman answers.
"But I am not an American!" - says the man. "Oh, what are you then?"
The man says: - "I am a Pakistani!" The next day the newspapers says:
"Islamic extremist kills American dog. Connections to terrorist networks are being explored"

There are plenty of posts on here against other religious beliefs and their way of life.
I work with a couple of Muslims and they are just as frightened to go into London as lots of other people are.
One of them went on a plane journey the other day, he had a workcase with him that he took on the plane.He said people were edging away from him and giving him odd looks.

I would defend anyone's right to publish such nonsense. I dont think you can define Muslim as a race. Islam is just a belief system. People chose to adopt or reject that belief system.
However there is no doubt that expressing such sentiments in the UK will bring prosecution. Yet advocating jihad was until recently just an expression of free speech.

Now that's just sad. But I can understand why...many of the Muslims involved in this awful terrorism are nice looking, normal looking people....you don't see the hate until they want you to see it, which is why they can live here for years without being suspected.
such a joke would fall foul of the UK incitement to religious hatred law. This makes it against the law to give offense to a religious community, even if they took offense when you meant none, and even if what you said was factually correct.

But whilst I reserve the right to challenge ideas even in robust terms I do not go along with the paranoia that appears to be gripping Bella.
There are dangerous people out there for sure. But being suspicious of "normal looking" ie obvious muslims is doing the terrorists work for them. They want division. They want "nice looking" ordinary muslims to feel isolated victimised and rejected. They can then point out to militants how muslims are islolated victimised and rejected by the rest of society. I challenge ideas, but I accept the person. I'm not a racist. We should all be on our guard against that.
