How to get tested for STIs without my parents knowing as a dependent adult

I'm 18. Still in highschool. I met this pushy male stranger who had sex unprotected. I can't get to a clinic on my own, as I live too far out and I can't drive. I have no money of my own though I'm trying to get a job. How can I get tested without my parents knowing? I also have a friend who may be able to drive me.

@Dontwanttobehereinth,
No one knows what county, state, or city you live near. The answer is going to wildly differ from that information.

This is one resource to use. That's if you actually live in the US.

@Dontwanttobehereinth,
Yes, any Planned Parenthood will help you at no charge. Please go there as soon as possible.

@Dontwanttobehereinth,
Hi I work with high school kids - if you are in the US, and you are 18 then a doctor cannot tell your parents anything without your permission. You should be able to go to your own doctor and get tested, now you might have a co-pay for the visit but in most places tests like that do not cost you anything.

So you have a couple of options - like someone said if you have a planned parenthood close enough to have your friend drive - they should test you without any cost or questions. You could call your primary care doctor and ask them for a suggestion, they may be able to direct you somewhere near you where you can get tested free or with little cost. And again - they cannot tell your parents anything even if it is covered on insurance they provide.

@Dontwanttobehereinth,
First of all do not blame anybody for STDs or VDs at all. You could only blame yourself. It is a wild card.

Your age has nothing to do with this at all. You should go and see a Gynecologist and ask her/him in private about those things.

Usually they have HIV/AIDS testing facilities but again you have to ask yourself what kind of person you was with and where this was with and if there was something off?

Beyond that you have to chose partners wisely. Many people who get around could easily have STDs so do not think if the person is good looking or by your definition "handsome" they are excluded. That is why we stay within a close proximity of the people we associate with.
