CNN just reported:

"U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld warns Syria that the U.S. considers military shipments to Iraq a 'hostile act.'"

Hey, if we're gonna bomb the crap out of one country, why not bomb the crap outta a bunch of 'em????

Damn, don't these people realize how tough we are?

Someone should put gag in Rumsfelds mouth. Were it up to him we would be fighting the whole world.

He deftly asked Syria if they wanted to play along, since they seemed interested and were in the neighborhood anyway. I think that was right neighborly of him.

he had only forgotten to put Syria on the Axis of Evil list-making up for his oversight. (Canada next?)

Frankly, as long as the boys are there anyway sorta makess Syria a logical playmate. The hunting and fishing are lots better in Canada, though ... always something to keep in mind Twisted Evil

Well, Celucci (US ambassador to us, and we feel appropriately blessed) is already doing the advance man thing by letting us know we aren't really thinking right, and that Americans are disappointed in us. Some post scriptum in there too about maybe some trade difficulties for us. Celucci also noted that Condi was aware of what he'd be saying (read: this came from the White House). Mexico is getting the same sort of lingo from the US ambassador there.

The problem was, you understand, that Canada disagreed about the Iraq project. Then, some Canadian politicians went and actually SPOKE out loud about their opinions on this matter.

Our previous Foreign Secretary, for example, said something about a problem with serial invasions committed unilaterally by our friend to the south. Traitorous bastard, he.

I don't think Dyslexia has anything against Canada and is just saying that we could be next on the evil list since the US is obviously not happy with us at the moment.

I suppose we might accomodate anyone who would like to die for Saddam.

Leaders may come and go but the people of our nations will always be friends of that I am sure.IMO they have too much in common to be otherwise.

To every thing, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together
To everything, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing
To everything, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
To everything, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late

There's your false dilemma again.

timber

Not only do we print our own money, it's WAY prettier than yours. There's colors and loons and a girl. Highway signs are now produced by a sweatshop in Dallas.

Tartarin

Thank you kindly. We Canadians have to outsource bluster and there is really only one place to turn.

I have a feeling that this current Iraq War will be all the Republicans can endure at the ballot box. The conflict portends to be much uglier than it already is.

I am glad Canada is not in this fight. We should not be.

Bush is thinking of going after the Dutch next -- because of Dutch Elm disease.

His only problem is that he cannot find Dutch on the map.
