Seems to me if the SCOTUS makes rulings that break the law we should be able to ignore them.

What is a bigger violation of the ceasefire agreement?

1. Israel murdering 31 Palestinians in the past 4 days?

2. Or Palestinians not being able to find the remains of Israelis, that were KILLED BY ISRAEL, under the rubble?

Well - I counted 79 articles about #2 and 3 about #1

This is our Morehouse brother who did something that you NEVER see. This man has been in the military for 37 years. And he’s in the highest rank he’s ever had.

And he quit right in the middle of a mission.

At Morehouse we are taught to NEVER quit a mission.

Unless it turns evil.

He quit because he was doing some truly evil stuff bombing these little boats they claim have drugs. It’s murder. And is a war crime. Everybody knows.

There is no ceasefire. Period.

I wouldn't even say it's over.

It never started.

Israel has killed over SIXTY Palestinians, most of them children, as always, since the "ceasefire began."

That's not a ceasefire.

@edgarblythe,
Over here there is a lot of fuss about the Champions League match between Aston Villa and Maccabee Tel Aviv.

(The Champions League is for European football clubs who end up top of the domestic leagues playing one another.)

Despite a lot of pressure Israeli clubs are still eligible.

When Maccabee Tel Aviv played Ajax in Amsterdam there was a lot of trouble.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/nov/11/what-happened-amsterdam-israeli-football-fans

As a result West Midlands Police decided to ban Maccabee Tel Aviv supporters from the match.

This has been challenged by the usual quarters saying victims of antisemitism shouldn't be punished.

A lot of us don't see it as that, it is a public order issue and if Israeli supporters are allowed it will reward the perpetrators of genocide.

If they are allowed to attend there will be trouble.

@izzythepush,
I got a couple of things wrong in my last post. First the spelling, it's Maccabi Tel Aviv and they're not in the Champions League but the Europa League which is one tier down.

This is the latest.

Quote:
Aston Villa told matchday stewards they would not have to work during the club’s Europa League fixture against the Israeli football team Maccabi Tel Aviv, citing possible “concerns” over safety, it has been reported.

West Midlands police decided to ban Maccabi fans from the forthcoming match, after saying the force would not be able to police the fixture safely owing to “violent clashes and hate crime offences” at a previous match in Amsterdam in 2024.

The Home Office has offered extra support to West Midlands police in an effort to reverse its ban. A meeting with Birmingham’s safety advisory group (SAG) has been set up for next week.

The BBC reported that Villa had informed stewards they had permission to skip their duties on the day of the fixture, Thursday 6 November, before the decision to ban fans was made by police.

In an email apparently sent on 3 October, stewards were told that “regarding the upcoming fixture against Maccabi Tel Aviv … we appreciate that some of you may have concerns about attending work”, the broadcaster reported.

Those who were meant to work on the day were told they would “be able to submit a one-off absence request”, and this “will allow you to register your absence for this specific fixture”.

Aston Villa had also made clear that “this type of absence will not affect your contractual minimum attendance of 80%”.

This email was reportedly sent after a number of stewards allegedly raised concerns over safety on the day, and it is unclear how many stewards will not work on the day of the fixture. A request to not work would have to be submitted four days prior to the match’s scheduled date.

West Midlands police had said on Thursday they had classified Villa’s home fixture against Maccabi as “high risk” based on intelligence. The police force also highlighted violence that occurred during a 2024 Uefa Europa League match between Ajax and Maccabi in Amsterdam, where more than 60 people were arrested over the violence that was called a “toxic combination of antisemitism, hooliganism, and anger” by authorities.

Four local people were given short jail terms for the violence against Maccabi fans. A report by Dutch police into the disorder during the 2024 Amsterdam match found Maccabi fans had torn a Palestinian flag down from a local building and burned it, shouted: “**** you, Palestine”, and vandalised a taxi. Maccabi fans were also taped chanting “Olé, olé. Let the IDF win, **** the Arabs.”

The ban imposed by West Midlands police came after pressure from the local independent MP, Ayoub Khan. Khan told BBC Two’s Newsnight on Thursday: “We cannot conflate [this issue with] antisemitism when we look at what some of these fans did in Amsterdam in 2024 … We’re talking about violent fans and I think the prime minister should stay out of operational matters.”

The Campaign Against Antisemitism said on Friday it was notifying Birmingham city council and West Midlands police of its intention to bring a judicial review against the ban of Maccabi fans, which it said was “pernicious” and had “angered the whole country”.

Keir Starmer called the police force’s decision “wrong”, saying “we will not tolerate antisemitism on our streets”. Uefa, the governing body of European football, has urged local authorities in Birmingham to allow Maccabi fans to travel to the match.

In a statement on their website, Aston Villa said: “The club are in continuous dialogue with Maccabi Tel Aviv and the local authorities throughout this ongoing process, with the safety of supporters attending the match and the safety of local residents at the forefront of any decision.”

Aston Villa have been approached for comment.

It's one of the grossest, most evil stories I've seen in a very long time. The University of Southern California has been purchasing the dead bodies of poor people in Los Angeles and allowing the Israeli military to do all manner of evil experiments on them.

This is what happens during a derby.

Quote:
The Israeli Premier League derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv was cancelled before kick-off on Sunday, after what police described as "public disorder and violent riots".

"Dozens of smoke grenades and pyrotechnic devices were thrown," Israeli police posted on X, adding "this is not a football game, this is disorder and serious violence".

Twelve civilians and three officers were injured, police said, while nine people were arrested and 16 detained for questioning.

The unrest comes just days after officials in the UK said that Maccabi fans should not be allowed to attend the Europa League match at Aston Villa in England next month because of safety concerns.

Hapoel Tel Aviv criticised the derby cancellation, accusing Israeli police of "preparing for a war, not a sporting event", including during discussions in the lead-up to the highly-anticipated match.

"The shocking events outside the stadium and following the reckless and scandalous decision not to hold the match only demonstrate that the Israel Police has taken control of the sport," Hapoel said in a statement on X, external.

Maccabi Tel Aviv has not yet commented, except to confirm the match was cancelled.

The decision by Birmingham's Safety Advisory Group (SAG) to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from the Aston Villa match on 6 November has sparked widespread criticism.

The UK government has since said it is working to overturn the ban and exploring what additional resources might be required to ensure the fixture can be hosted safely.

Villa told their matchday stewards that they did not have to work at the game, saying they understood that some "may have concerns".

On Thursday, West Midlands Police said it supported the ban and classified the fixture as "high risk" based on intelligence and previous incidents.

That included "violent clashes and hate-crime offences that occurred during the 2024 Uefa Europa League match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Amsterdam", when more than 60 people were arrested.

There have been protests at various sporting events over the war in Gaza, including when Israel played Norway and Italy in recent football World Cup qualifiers.

Iran’s Khamenei Accuses Trump of Complicity in Gaza Civilian Deaths, Warns of Major Strike If…
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a fierce condemnation of U.S. President Donald Trump, accusing him of being complicit in the deaths of Palestinians in Gaza. In a televised address, Khamenei warned that Iran would launch a “massive and decisive” retaliatory strike if provoked by Israel or the United States. His remarks come amid rising regional tensions and fears that Iran could directly intervene in the escalating Gaza conflict

@edgarblythe,
One thing I've noticed is both of our parliamentary systems are inadequate when it comes to taking away Prince Andrew's titles and removing Trump from office due to lack of mental competence.

Trump may be the big Epstein story over there, but here it's Andrew.

Memoir of Epstein survivor says that she was brutally raped and choked unconscious by the Prime Minister of Israel
Her posthumous memoir describes a “well-known prime minister” who choked and raped her. Prior filings had pointed to Israel’s former PM Ehud Barak — who repeatedly denies any wrongdoing. And of course he does. And of course he's guilty.
It's so disgusting and depraved and the whole world knows it's true.

So far the people who can nail Trump are stonewalling. Andrew seems to be accepting his fate. For me, the big problem with removing Trump, we are then stuck with physically healthy madman Vance, who will likely double down on Trump=like policies.

Here’s what Senator Paul lays down, clean and simple. First, there is no fentanyl being manufactured in Venezuela—“not just a little bit,” he says, “none.” That alone blows a hole in the White House line that these are fentanyl “narco-terror” boats aimed at the United States.

Second, the boats themselves give the game away: these are small outboards that, in Paul’s words, “would have to refuel 20 times to reach Miami.” They’re not coming here. He says every shred of information he has indicates these boats hug the nearby route to Trinidad, a short hop from Venezuela’s coast—consistent with what regional officials and reporters have been saying for weeks.

Then comes the part too many are afraid to say out loud: “We cannot just summarily execute people.” For drug crimes, Paul says, you go to court, evidence is presented, and a person has a chance at justice. If Trump is acting under the rules of war, Paul adds, he must declare war and Congress must debate and authorize it. That’s not a technicality. That’s the Constitution.

Frame those sentences against what the administration has actually done. It has claimed a war-like power without a vote, blown up multiple boats, killed dozens, refused to release a legal memo or evidence, and then—when two men survived—sent them home to Colombia and Ecuador instead of charging them or detaining them where a U.S. judge could hear their testimony. If these men were who the White House says they were, why weren’t they brought to court? Why avoid the one venue where claims must be proved?

You already know the answer: they didn’t want those men talking under oath. Killing by press conference; silence by repatriation.
I also believe something darker is at work in our public heart. Two straight years of the genocide in Gaza—broadcast into our palms—has numbed the world to wanton killing. When leaders can starve babies on camera and call it “security,” they can convince people that vaporizing “suspects” at sea without proof is somehow safety. That moral numbness is not an accident. It is the point.

Objection & Answer
“Rand’s grandstanding; intel is classified.”
Courts handle classified material every day—in camera, under seal, through the Classified Information Procedures Act. Releasing survivors rather than charging them isn’t about secrecy; it’s about avoiding judges, discovery, and cross-examination.

“They’re drug smugglers; good riddance.”
If that’s true, prove it. That’s what trials are for. Present evidence, let defense counsel speak, and let a jury decide. Bombs are not due process—and geography says these boats aren’t U.S.-bound fentanyl pipelines.

“This is war.”
Then show the authorization. The Constitution doesn’t allow war by press release. If you want war powers, make the case to Congress and the American people. Until then, what you’re doing is outside the law. Shaun King

Absolutely, let's celebrate Bobby Seale, the visionary co-founder of the Black Panther Party (BPP), whose unyielding fight for Black liberation, community self-defense, and social justice continues to inspire generations. Born on October 22, 1936, in Dallas, Texas, Seale's family moved to Oakland when he was young, planting the roots for his revolutionary work. Alongside Huey P. Newton, he founded the BPP on October 15, 1966—marking its 59th anniversary just days ago—at Merritt College in Oakland, birthing a movement that armed Black communities against police brutality while pioneering free breakfast programs for children, health clinics, and voter registration drives that influenced global social welfare models.

Yesterday, October 22, 2025—Seale's 89th birthday—Oakland made history by officially renaming the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and 57th Street as Bobby Seale Way, a spot tied to his childhood home on 57th Street where early Panthers stored weapons and strategized patrols.

The city also proclaimed October 22 as Bobby Seale Day, hosting a vibrant block party from 5-7 p.m. with remarks from Mayor Barbara Lee, performances by Oakland rapper Mistah F.A.B., and community tributes honoring Seale's legacy of "Love Life"—a motto inspired by his activism.

This renaming joins other Oakland landmarks, like the Huey P. Newton memorial, in etching the BPP's birthplace into the city's fabric.

Seale's life reads like a blueprint for resilience: From his Air Force days and engineering studies to running for Oakland mayor in 1973 on a platform of community control, enduring the infamous Chicago 8 trial (where he was bound and gagged in court—a scene immortalized in The Trial of the Chicago 7), and authoring books like Seize the Time. Even at 89, he's out here barbecuing, organizing, and schooling folks on the Panthers' true story—rejecting myths of mere militancy for the full truth of mutual aid and
