Has Fitzgerald disappeared off the face of the earth? Just curious?
Fitzgerald is a Bush lackie.
Mizzzzz Plame & her tag along hubby are moving to New Mexico to
help with Bill Richardsons run for the presidency.

He should be hiding. I want to know whay Richard Armitage wasn't indicted?
Since nothing is happening publicly in the Plame matter, there is, of course, no news items.
I, also, would love to know why action is evidently not being taken against Armitage. He seems to be contending that all is cool because he is a gossip who was speaking too freely. The fact is that he, along with Rove et al., outed a covert CIA agent.

I think the reason for no action is that Armitage's name is not spelled R O V E. This is not complicated. Fitzgerald was fishing for pike and caught a trout, and he wants to throw the trout back. In my opinion, Fitzgerald has alot of questions to answer himself.

Forget Fitzgerald, if there really is a there there, Henry Waxman will get to the bottom of it. Waxman will have absolute power to subpoena anyone without committee approval, an (abuse of) power that was given to Dan "Pumpkin Head" Burton to persecute Billzeebubba. Payback is gonna be tough, boys and girls.
You demonstrate the Democratic Party mindset beautifully, Roxxi. Fellow Democrats, read her post if you want to know what your party is about. I hope it makes you mighty proud.
Prouder than your bunch of corrupt and lying chickenhawks do, Okie.
She's right, though; I've seen quite a bit of conservative angst these last few weeks since the election, but that's nothing. Nothing. Because once the investigations start up in Janurary, you are going experience a whole year of anger and pain at the results.
Hope you're ready

I hope you're right! Fitzgerald is a non-issue. As we have seen throughout the Bush kingship, all the lower-ranking men got booted, and the upper echelon was "protected" from any charge.
Fitz is 'still an issue'; the trial with Libby is proceeding slowly but surely.

Again, let this sink in, Waxman has absolute power to subpoena anyone he wants without having to get anyone elses consent. That is a power that could very well be abused and was by Burton. I doubt that you will see Waxman in his backyard shooting at pumpkin heads. The adults are going to be in charge now and payback is going to be tough.
The big difference is that the Dems will investigate actual governmental misconduct, and not personal misconduct, such as screwing around with consenting adult interns, et al.

Libby was an underling. That's not justice by any meaning of the word.

No, it isn't.
But that's the way organized crime trials and prosecution works; you have to go after the biggest fish you think you can land at a time, and then when the reality of their jailtime and conviction sets in, you flip 'em against the higher-ups.

I don't know about you, but I'm not sure how many ways the same questions can be asked for Libby to tell all.
Libby was far from a petty underling. He was the top official to Cheney, wielding quite a bit of power. I hope Fitz gets him good.
I just don't think he really believes that he'll do jail time. Once it becomes apparent that he will, his story might change quite a bit. He wouldn't be the first.

You guys might be right, but the length of Fitz's investigation could last another ten years(exaggeration). Too late to impact the psychopath now in the white house.
