My partner and I have sworn to one another that we would make all attempts at staying in the same condition (save age) as when we met.
I think as we have made that committment of a healthy and active lifestyle, our physical selves have improved, and so has or relationship.
I have seen far too many couples fall apart once they have secured one another in either marriage or informal committment and they both complain about it.
It has nothing to do with women hating being told they've let themselves go...no one likes to hear that.
In many instances that kind of comment has the reverse effect and gives them license to slip further.

I make wise investments and realistic purchases to ensure we are not "poorer"...I see the doctor regularily, work out, eat healthy and take preventative measures to ensure I'm not in "sickness".
The least you can do is read betwen the lines in those vows and maintain yourself for your partner.
If you're so insecure as to think that an attractive partner will be swooned by another individual, I can guarantee the issues you're facing have nothing to do with physical attraction.
