Whew. My first reaction is relief. I wouldn’t even have wanted to live with me if we had gotten another acquittal.

I just saw this on the news, thank God for this verdict. Maybe we haven't slipped entirely back down that hole of misery, there may still be hope for the future.

Just wonder why it took the jury 10.5 hours to come to the obvious conclusion. At any rate, now we can look forward to the sentencing. Any signs of rioting or protesting?

There were multiple charges against each defendant that needed to be decided and some of them were very subtly different.

The obvious slackness of investigators and the prosecution was crazy. The state and the feds had to fire up the investigation. There was no way this was going to come off the rails once it started rolling.

There will be repercussions for both civil and elected officials. Been a bunch of retirements to get in front of the firings.
