Hi Matt, I see you’ve gotten the usual A2K welcome already.
The situation you described is in a scene from the movie '500 Days of Summer'.
I would recommend you see it and ask yourself if it matches what you experienced.
There aren’t many 'Summer' types out there but they do exist. Use caution.
OTOH, you might be doing the same thing as Summer's guy. Or both.
You might be fudging on how strongly you feel about her.
In any case it’s a great movie. Hope it helps you as much as it did me.
