Aw, what's the matter little chipmunk!?! I love that shot!

MsO, post some garden shots, your spring must be well underway and giving way to summer.

Embarrassed

I'm going to give that little camera I bought (months ago) some attention of these coming holidays, k. We'll see what happens then.

For mid-December parts of my garden are looking a bit tragic, really. You know, the rain situation, k. Or lack of, I should say. The ground is like concrete & 3/4 of my back lawn has already died. (Not that I'm crazy about lawns. They were here when I bought this place.) I expect some plants to die over January & February. You can't just keep pumping water onto them to keep them alive. We have water restrictions in place, of course, but I suspect they should be more stringent than they are. So any garden photographs from me would not exactly be an inspiration, I'm afraid.

Do the photos have to be inspirational? I'm sorry to hear about the drought. we've had dry years, of course, but nothing like you face even on a normal year. Of course most of our plants are different - more thirsty. I think some photos could be educational. Besides, you do need to get to know your camera.

Some of mumpads flowers in our garden. The berry is a youngberry/raspberry. 2 crops a year if it gets enough sun.

Oh those Raspberries look so inviting. Very nice, dadpad.

I have my outside orchids flowering nicely - always around christmas time.

There is something wrong with those orchids, Jane.

They are sick. And demented.

Usually the chipmunk enjoys a little hide-and-seek:

C'mere, little chipmunk -- Iknow you're in here somewhere....

time in the garden is a vital part of Nekochan's day, Msolga, and she won't leave me alone until I let her out, even if for only fifteen minutes or so when it's cold like it has been nowadays.

And now, from my stash of garden photos, here's a pleasing shot of some
Tulipa tardica and our native sanguinara canadensis (Bloodroot):

You may have seen this one before, but I think now's a good time to show it again. Lilium speciosum rubrum:

A spot under the flowering crab:

Click on picture for the springtime view. Some of those tulips were divided last year, so that same spot should be showier this May.

She explained that in detail at one time, littlek, and possibly earlier on this very thread, but I can't really say that with certainty and I am not about to look.

littlek: I used two URLs: one from Ravens Realm, and one from Photobucket.

The Ravens Realm one, with [IMG] and [/IMG] tags, is used to link to the
Photobucket one in the same fashion as a text link ("page location' in the A2K's Post URL feature).
For example Click here.

So, the image URL from Ravens Realm -- a real long one, with [IMG] and [/IMG] tags-- is substituted for the text 'Click Here'.

I compose all this beforehand on the computer so as to make the post in one visit to the thread.

I credit Timberlandko in tutoring me.

Get it this time ?
