I'm looking just to the left of the hammock.. towards the back...

Pacifica. My favorite beer label. Well, one of them.

Why do I recognize Joe Pye, was it in a song?

CJane, the way you can do the red arrows is useful. Is that in some program or do you print out, draw, and scan ... which all sounds like so much trouble.

Gosh, dag, you're brave to drink that stuff.

osso, I just dragged the picture into photoshop, cropped it and drew
the red arrows on. That's it. With MAC it's easy.

Here's my Christmas cactus at 27, still in good health:

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0VgD2Ap0ZkFo0gq0S4Ys1TMj6sw2E9*8llx6PB0NI5WV8ebiwz09NV3jupsBzolrhG!e9iU5FwvuUae755s1JaHJCOePbPtQuQY1D7IccGmKR2cNhqgEps2ONy!lsWbvE/neko%20nomad%20477A.jpg
I brought it indoors after taking this picture. (click for a closer look)

Here it is, in bloom, as of last November;

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0VgDdApsZB1o0gq0S4Ys1TMj6sw2E9*8lo!oXrYjGZcjsOjZxZ0tJRExDEqUG3iS*JAu*Sd74iph2BQ9IKleb27QCRSWaxDoRD0YtPwR4qdYgobmskPFRAiJltrMgKgy9/neko%20nomad%20367A.jpg

It doesn't grow; it just stays alive, showing tree-like characteristics, dropping and replacing leaves at the tips of its branches, and blooms twice a year, in spring and in autumn.

Surprised

Why thank you, Nekochan! (Beautiful as usual, I see!) Poppychan sends her regards right back to you!Very Happy

Yes, it's finally spring, neko! Hooray! At last!

It is quite impossible to stay out of my garden for long. All those weeds from winter Shocked have been removed. My roses out front have sprung back to life after their winter prune .... deep crimson blooms will appear any time now! I mulched the rose flower bed (early) a couple of days ago due to the unseasonally warm weather & the relentless wind! It's going to be a very hot summer. (Another year of drought - we've got water restrictions already.)
But right now I'm getting a lot of joy from watching my chives, Vietnamese mint, tarragon & coriander reappear, the Japanese maple spring to life after the winter sleep, my daisy bushes & the Daphne flowering like crazy, new buds appearing on so many plants & bushes .. so much happening so fast! I'm living like the Balinese - outside most of the day. (& getting very dirty!) Inside to sleep at night. Ah, this is good! Very Happy

This is a photograph of your Autumn garden, neko? You've been busy!

-----pardon the delay-----

....And happy gardening, too !!

No, that pic is of Nekochan doing her early spring garden
tour last April, and I thought it would make an appropriate
greeting for your spring.

on how large a scale do you garden? What used to be my vegetable garden isnow the wildflower/butterflycorner.

I'm working on trees & shrubbery nowadays; watch for my post.
