What am I talking about? The weirdness that is some collections of words -- and it often sounds like the name of what should be a band.

I hate getting up in winter and its pitch black
When I was over in Ireland I spent a really depressing winter where the dawn began like 8:30AM nd then set at 3:30 PM. (I know its th latitude of Labrador but still) .
So Im not a big fan of year round Daylight savings,

I'm an early riser too and enjoy daylight in the early morning. But there's no real solution which is going to please everyone, especially people at the extreme eastern or western edges of the time zone. I've heard it likened to a short blanket — pull it up to cover your head and your feet stick out.
