@InfraBlue,
There was a piece on the radio about the power of certain content providers, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.

The problem is that the current set up means tribalism and fake news are much more profitable than reporting the truth, and until something changes that particular dynamic things are only going to get worse.

Mark Zuckerburg says thing are changing but they could take fake news stuff in minutes instead of leaving it up for hours and even days on end.

The government needs to break up Twitter and Facebook.

Before, you used the excuse that it had been years since you read my posts about this. You have no such excuse this time. Now you're just lying.

There are no shifting details in what I've said.

The story is not fictional.

There are no conflicting plot lines.

Shame on you for being so dishonest.

Was it really? Yours is the first post I've seen in almost two pages.

It is good when lesser intellects hide from conversations that can't understand instead of spouting childish name-calling at their betters.

It's a shame that they don't all do it.

Nope. That's the truth. Hightor is the only person here who is lying.

@oralloy,
Don't take the bait. That's what Elizabeth Warren and her far-left friends would do. It can be a tool by which conservatives and centrists use to counter far-left extremism and see off some Democratic Socialists. They are gormless.

Facebook should allow Trump to take a stand because it's a matter of freedom of expression.

@goldberg,
These platforms will not be used as tools to counter the far left as long as they are under the control of the far left.

Frankly, that's the only way this makes sense.

Except, you are not capable of understanding this topic.

You really should read sentences twice, because you seem to jump to a conclusion before you actually understand.

Seem is the key word there. You are not qualified to assess people who are smarter than you.

You might just be too hasty because you want to insult me with taunts about your superior intelligence. After all this time its hard to believe you actually think you can get under my skin. I think I understand why you do this silly stuff, and I hate to be so blunt, but I don't take you seriously enough to care what you say about me. Yeah, yeah I know, you think your Dad can beat up my Dad.

Your inability to comprehend the topic is a significant factor in your blundering confusion here.

As long as you keep poking your nose into conversations that you are not able to comprehend, people will have to keep pointing out your intellectual limitations.

Well, there are signs that the Democratic Party will get clobbered in the next presidential election. All conservatives and centrists have to do is get behind the same message that America doesn't want a prole like Bernie Sanders , AOC or that Kamala Harris becoming the president.

Black people hanker after the idea of creating the so-called Black America.

Voter suppression can be a pretty effective strategy for a minority party which controls state legislatures.

I'm curious about your history of treason and cowardice. Are you mostly a traitor who also happens to be a coward? Or are you mostly a coward who also happens to be a traitor?

There is a difference you know.

For real? Well, I'm just no fan of Progressive movement. I got irked by an article written by a hoity-toity supporter of Bernie Sanders. He declaims against capitalism and even makes a case that Democratic Socialists are going to rule America. Someone here had posted the link to that article.

That's not gonna happen. Traditional liberalism has nothing to do with this; such far-left activists are no slouch at spouting propaganda modeled on Putin's Russia.

Get your reading straight. I said harming, or talking about it the way you did.

We call you stupid and crazy and other names, but I don’t think anyone here would stoop so low as to say we were glad a beloved pet of yours died, or that we’re glad it hurt. That crosses lines of simple humanity.

Someone who could say something like that has to be profoundly emotionally disturbed.

Your pathetic sniveling is pretty funny. It reminds me of Japan's phony outrage after we dropped the justice bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Like I said to Snood, this pathetic sniveling and phony outrage is pretty funny.

A black journalist working at the New Yorker once talked about this in one of his articles. Sorry, I think I can't find that article for you anymore. I stopped reading the New Yorker months ago
