Hi. What is the part of a person's top (shirt, jacket, sweater, etc.) that hangs off a shoulder called?

Would that be called a "yoke"? It's the part of the top that covers the shoulder.

Would you say, "the girl made the yoke of her jacket drop and hang off of her shoulder"?

Please help. Thank you.

Sleeve. There is a sleeve on the left and another on the right.

@Sturgis,
The sleeve of a person's top doesn't cover the person's shoulder.

Yes, it's called a yoke. And I just Googled parts of a shirt and this came right up. https://hespokestyle.com/dress-shirt-parts-terminology/
